Michael Stamm received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. from New York University and an M.A. in English Literature from Columbia University. He has completed residences at The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, The Mountain School of Arts, Yaddo, Vermont Studio Center and The Wassaic Project. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at Thierry Golderg Gallery. New York. Recent group exhibitions include Underdonk, Brooklyn; ASHES/ASHES, Los Angeles; Galerie Tobias Naehring, Leipzig; Regina Rex, New York; Interstate Projects, Brooklyn. Stamm was a Visiting Critic at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2017. Stamm lives and works in Brooklyn.
